David C Reyes

     David was born into a family of five with two sisters and himself growing up in Southern California. As a child, David grew up with kidney problems and at age three was told by doctors that he was going to die. His mother, who was not a Christian at the time, took him to a revival meeting where they prayed over David. At the next doctor’s checkup, the doctors were “amazed” at the recovery of David’s kidney function. As a result of this, his mother and subsequently the rest of the family came to believe in the Lord. Later in life, his kidney problems would reoccur, but David knew that his life was spared as a child in order for modern kidney treatments to develop. David currently lives with his wife Linda in Arizona and is the father of one. David grew up with music talent, enjoys writing poems and has always had an interest in adventures and mystery. He believes that his life experiences have brought him to a point in his life to write short stories.
