Chapter 1: Introduction to Miracles

    I wrote this book in hopes that it will give the needed faith to those who need that special miracle..., that prayer that never seemed to be answered....to prove without a doubt that God is alive and well, delivering those who come to him. A loving God, a Friend! This book is pure, in that, it was only written upon the unction of the Holy Spirit. Many days and nights I sat at the typewriter wanting to put on paper what was in my spirit and what God wanted to be said, just to type only a few lines and walk away. When that special unction would come upon me, I could write page after page with ease. I don’t believe I ever threw away anything once it had been placed on paper.

    I endeavor to tell how God has used me as a vessel to pour out His never ending love for mankind through the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I pray that those who read this book (especially the layman, the pastor, minister, evangelist) will take heed of what the Holy Spirit is doing today. Not yesterday, but today. Not to limit the living God to just the minute things of life, but through the Holy Spirit dare to trust God for “anything”, knowing He will do it.

    The re-creation of an eye, internal organs, or any part of the body, when these miracles happen, they “do not” surprise me in any way. But it would surprise me if they did not happen. This “knowing” is the factor that keeps me in constant contact with God. Being “in tune” with the Holy Spirit and doing the will of God is my top priority. The healing ministry that has been ordained to me by God himself Is not only a way of showing His love toward mankind, but a real physical manner in which many are “born again” and brought into the Kingdom of God after seeing these signs and wonders. There are those of you who can not really comprehend the true love of God for you, when you hear that God gave His only begotten Son for you to live forever with Him, never to die. NEVER!

“Food for thought”
    Would you let anybody nail your son or daughter to a cross for that town drunk, those harlots in the red light district, a murderer, rapist, or the worst sinner you could think of, to save their souls? If it was in your power to do this; would you allow this to happen to your son or daughter just to save one soul? In reality, that is what God did for you and me. If you were the only soul to save, He would have done it. That, my friend, is “love.” As you read this book, remember it is not fiction, it really happened. The miracles you read about happened to real people and are documented. I do hope that you enjoy it and it may bring you to a closer walk with God. At times, I have found that God requires me to step out in faith far beyond that which I can sometimes comprehend.

While in an Indiana town, a sister in the Lord had a fractured wrist and/or hand. She was going to a hair stylist school in a nearby town and needed her hands in the worst way. She also had a problem with her blood (too much sugar in it) and had to eat certain type of foods for her diet. The Lord told me that he would heal her hand completely. She was very happy to hear that because she said the doctor that was taking care of her had told her to leave the wrap around type cast on for another four to six weeks. Now, I never debate with God. Never. He said, “Take hold of her fractured wrist and hold it with both your hands.” I did as I was told and I KNEW what was about to be asked of by - God. “Now, take the wrap around the cast off,” I instructed her. I knew it was completely mended now by God. She unwrapped it quickly, bending her wrist and hand back and forth, smiling up a storm. She declared, “I’m going to send the cast to a friend and tell her about it!” Did I ever think that bone would splinter through her skin when she took that cast off? No. If God says it is healed, it is healed. There is no way it couldn’t be mended, that particular time, the Lord said she had a lower back problem and it was also healed. She exclaimed, “Yes I do have a problem with my lower back, but how do you know?” I told her that God had told me and then instructed her, “Now, bend over and touch your toes.” She did this over and over again with absolutely no pain. Bent down, she kept bending her knees. She said it had been a very long time since she could do that “without pain.” The Lord also healed her sugar problem and I told her to eat what she wanted to eat.

     She also had an eight or nine year old little boy who was not of her own blood and I don’t think she had yet adopted him. I didn’t get into that. He had a very bad few years behind him. She said he had a double personality and had been sexually abused. I cast out seven demons in Jesus’ name. He fell to the floor and lay almost motionless, then got up. His face looked as though he’d been to Heaven and came back. A calm look, a totally different child! When I cast these seven demons out in Jesus’ name, I ordered them to go into the vast limits of space. I had him say the sinner’s prayer to fill the void space that was left. With Jesus, this is a must. Isn’t Jesus beautiful? He said in Mark 16:17 “In my name shall they cast out devils.”

    If we only knew how many people are “put away” for mental reasons, and the real reason is they are possessed by these demonic powers. Jesus can set them free. I’ve seen it done time after time. Yes, Lord, set them free, set them free. I have touched on just a very minute factor in the realm of the demonic powers of Satan, such as this small boy. The forces of Satan are real, but the force of our God is so much greater. It’s like comparing a glass of water with the Atlantic or Pacific Ocean. As far as I am concerned, the biggest weapon the devil can use is “deceit.” The Word says he is the father of all lies, and indeed he is. It is of great amazement to me on just how much a “believer” can be deceived by Satan. It comes down to believing in the Word of God or Satan’s lies. If the believer would just “stand” on the Word and not be moved by circumstances, Satan could “never” win a battle. So many are so close to a miracle and they let Satan “steal” it from them. So close, and yet so very far.
